USE: Decanting spirits (mainly whiskey) to allow it to slowly oxidize and change its’ flavor over time. It also makes pouring a little easier and plus glass decanters look super cool. This particular one is on the smaller side for spirit decanters but will still fit an entire standard 750ml bottle, making it ideal for a more subtle location or somewhere space is tight like a desk or end table.
SIZE: Holds a maximum of about 24oz , weighs 3.2lbs, and is 10in tall by 6in wide (25cm x 16cm, holds 750ml and weighs 1.4kg)
MAKE: Longchamp decanter made by CRISTAL D’ARQUES. It is made with blown glass using a mold and has a nicely fitting all glass stopper. The stopper and the decanter are both fairly heavy and feel well made.
CONDITION: The decanter is in really great condition with no visible chips or notable scratches. Unfortunately, the stopper has a small chip underneath the bottom (pictured above). It is not visible when the stopper is on the decanter and it does not have sharp edges, but it has influenced what I have priced it at here.
