Last Word Cocktail Recipe
The Last Word is a tart, herbal and bold flavored gin cocktail. Bright lime balances out the unique herbal qualities of Green Chartreuse and Maraschino liquor, while the crisp gin serves as a backbone to hold it all together.

Ingredients
- 1 oz Gin
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse
- 1/4 oz 1:1 Cane Sugar Simple Syrup
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to your shaker.
- Add ice and shake for 12 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Double strain if you don't like little ice chips.
Notes
The traditional recipe uses 3/4 oz of each of the four main ingredients, however I think it turns out better if you bump up the gin and take back a little of the overpowering Maraschino.
If you want to be traditional feel free to use equal parts.
