A classic New Orleans cocktail with rye whiskey, vermouth, cognac and benedictine.

Ingredients
1ozRye
1ozCongnac
1ozSweet Vermouth
1/2ozBenedictine
2DashesPeychaud's Bitters
2DashesAngostura Bitters
Garnish1 Maraschino Cherry
1Piece of Lemon Peeloptional
Instructions
Add all the liquid ingredients to a mixing glass.
Add ice and stir until desired chill and dilution is reached (about 25 seconds).
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or a rocks glass with ice.
Garnish with a Maraschino Cherry, and optionally express the oils of the lemon peel and drop in for garnish.
Notes
